More about this Book
Good artists cherish good art, whatever the medium. Renowned Canadian painter Robert Bateman says photographer Michael Runtz’s Algonquin Wild “brings delight and astonishment as I view each image.” The book’s 230 large glossy pages of Runtz’s compelling photographs get you close up and personal with Algonquin Park’s diverse wildlife. His captions provide fascinating information about the animal, vegetable, and mineral subjects, insightful observations about what’s being seen and, sometimes, his tale of adventure in being able to get the shot at all.
